Our COVID-19 Standard Operating Practices 

1. Preparing For Your Visit During COVID-19

We have taken extra precautions since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic to ensure you receive treatment in the safest and most comfortable environment possible. In this new reality, you’ll notice the following in our Boca Raton clinic adapt with the changing times in a number of key ways, such as:

  • We are still limiting the number of visitors to our offices.

  • We are still using protective barriers when in close proximity with our clients.

  • Personal protective equipment is still being worn by all medical staff.

  • Prior to coming into the office, we may question and assess patients for COVID-19 risks.

  • We reserve the right to take a temperature reading for all patients’ safety.

  • We are closely monitoring all COVID-19 cases/exposures involving employees and/or patients.

  • We are continuing to use more sanitation and disinfection in common and high-traffic areas.

  • We continuously monitor the latest CDC guidance and evolve our policies and procedures to protect our team and serve you.

If you are experiencing any signs or symptoms of COVID-19, please stay home and contact us to reschedule your care.

2. COVID-19 Screening

Upon arriving, visitors may be asked the following questions:

Do you have any of these symptoms that aren’t the result of another condition?
Fever or chills
• Cough
• Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
• Fatigue
• Muscle or body aches
• Headache
• Recent loss of taste or smell
• Sore throat
• Congestion
• Nausea or vomiting
• Diarrhea

If you haven’t been immunized, have you been in close contact with anyone infected with COVID-19 in the last 10 days? Close contact is defined as being within 6 feet of a person for 15 minutes or more in a 24-hour period; or having direct contact with fluids from a person with COVID-19, with or without wearing a mask (i.e., being coughed or sneezed on).

Have you had a COVID-19 test for active virus in the last 10 days, or are you waiting for the results of a COVID-19 test?

Has a public health or medical professional advised you to self-monitor, self-isolate, or self-quarantine in the last 10 days due to concerns about COVID-19 infection?


3. Will I Be Safe If I Need Care?

As a medical clinic, our priority has always been to provide clinically proven treatments in the most secure manner possible. Our staff is well-trained and confident in their ability to serve patients while keeping them safe and comfortable.

While we are putting in place extensive safety measures, we understand that some patients will prefer to postpone treatment or have a video visit.

For select patients, the doctor will continue to offer remote care options in the form of virtual appointments and consultations. Virtual care is not a regular service provided at this clinic.
